Hamlin left the band shortly after the recording of “Papa’s…” and according to a 1982 interview in The Face, was involved in a legal dispute regarding the track when it became a hit.

Roger Freeman left the band in 1982, and for the recording of The Big Bean single, the band added:-

Kofi Adu joined the band on drums later in 1982 and it was this was the line-up which appeared on the 1982 Christmas Top Of The Pops TV show, performing “Papa’s…”.
In late ’82 the band announced that they had made an addition to their line-up which would surprise people, and the 1983 album and single both featured new chanteuse, Angela Jaeger. Previously all Pigbag releases had been instrumental (apart from a few chants on B-sides etc.)

I just discovered Sunny Day in a load of old vinyl records, absolutely loved rockin out to it!! I started playing tenor sax this year, so jammin along to the mad sounds. Amazing record guys
